Plant and Facility Training Course

Development and Presentation

IRI develops and presents Custom Training Courses designed to meet the customer’s need for training specific to company plant equipment, and/or job classifications. Custom Training Courses are designed to meet a specific need such as improving plant heat rate, addressing inadequate operating or maintenance issues, training on new equipment or safety concerns.

The training courses can be designed to be presented by an instructor, as a self-study program, as on-the-job training or as computer based.

Computer based programs include animated PowerPoint programs that are self running with voice over and use custom illustrations and graphics that are specific to the customers facility. Examples of these are a Contractors Safety Program, Plant Equipment Operation and/or Maintenance Procedure Training Programs.

Experienced IRI Operations and/or Maintenance instructors present custom training courses on-site using a variety of materials determined appropriate by the individual customer. Generally this includes a plant or equipment specific student text, operating or maintenance procedures, lesson plans and evaluation methods.
